We’re feeling pretty super, how about you? The big game is fast approaching, and while we love football, we love an excuse to invite people over and cook even more! You too can cook like a champion with recipes from Dr. BBQ’s NFL Gameday Cookbook: Grilled Tuna Sandwiches from Seattle and Baked Brie from New England. Who’s going to win? You’ll have to cook both to find out.

That is really cool for kids to see!
At the Air Force Academy, they have a falcon area that is open to the public.
    Glad everyone had fun Chris.

  • My Nana used to make squirrel head gravy...boiled the carcass, picked the meat, and made a brown gravy with a roux from some part of the squirrel, added meat back and served it over biscuits. I remember it being real good, but not real eggable

  • That is 100x amazing. My 11 y/o just saw that and was enthralled.

We have a pair of red tails that have lived on our ridge for the past year and it's always exciting watching them dive into the pasture next door after their prey. I can't imagine how fun it would be hunting with them.

Cool post.A lotta hunters I know fuss about there being too many of them and that they kill all the rabbits and quail.MS State put up a camera on the nest of a pair and documented there diet as they raised their offspring.Over 90% of the prety they brought back to the nest was field mice and snakes.

  • Good looking bird. Immature hen? I'm surprised the aylmeri aren't wider. Most of the Georgia falconers I knew used an extra wide aylmeri that had a large grommet down low for the jesses, and a smaller (size '0') above for the bell attachment. This arrangement kept the bell from interfering with footing, and provided the legs more protection from the squirrel’s teeth.
