I am thinking of getting the Adjustable Rig, but am wondering if i really need their 13" stone when I already have the BGE stone.
Has anyone else used a similar setup?

Discount code is 10 characters. You fooled me .Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

If the inside diameter of your fire ring is less than 16 inches, I would not recommend it.
14 inch OD stone and 16 inch ID fire ring yields 1 inch of open space between the stone and fire box.
If you egg is less than two years old, the diameter is less than 16 inches, so best to use 13 inch stone to insure at least 1 inch open spacing between stone edge and fire ring wall.

Safe to use the 14" stone on the lower level of the Adj Rig? He did not mention Spider. I use my Adj Rig w/o Spider most of the time.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas

thanks for clarifying, yes 14 stone works all day long on any of the rig bracket settings. for single grid low and slow cooks, I recommend putting the stone on the lowest bracket setting and grid atop rig.
I might need a vacation, LOL. twww.ceramicgrillstore.com ACGP, Inc. -
