My December Giveaway: Cast Iron Grate

Guys and gals, I'm EXCITED! :woohoo:

My December giveaway on my blog is a cast iron grate just like the one I have used for the past year!



I used it last night to make grilled beef tenderloin medallions and veggie kabobs. The beef tenderloin were premarinated and sliced to 3/4" thick. The veggies were marinated in olive oil and Dizzy Pig Tsunami Spin. Grilled for 2 minutes per side at 450f.



I put the griddle insert in and toasted a roasted red pepper pesto bruschetta (used Classico's jarred pesto)



For a quickie, it was oh so good!

But back to the giveaway. On my blog on December 15th I am giving away one of these cast iron modular grid systems, a griddle plate, and handle. (Griddle plate not in this photo)



They have expanded their line and can now fit a medium, large or XL Egg (and almost any round grill). The winner gets his/her choice of size.

Hi Chris, I just entered your drawing for the giveaway grate. I have two of the 18.5" models w/ the inserts for my two lge's, and I use them all of the time.

I also have two smalls and want to get the new grids for them. After reading your post I double-checked the Craycort website and the new 14.5" actually measures 13.5", so it will fit the small. I have no clue as to why they call it 14.5". :unsure:

These are great products, I have pimped them in several posts/queries about CI Grids, except for pizza, I use mine for 80-90% of my cooks. :cheer:
