This is the first time I have ever brined a turkey. When I get it washed back off can I put some seasoning on it? I don't want it to be too salty!

Brining will NOT make a turkey salty...there was a thread on it yesterday...

Brining does "add" salt to the bird..but in my experience you could never taste it....maybe that is beacuse of all the other flavorings I put in my brine...here's a word doc of my brine...

Oconee Dawg: Rinse it super well inside and out, you won't have salt issues. I do admittedly go lighter on the exterior salt when I have brined something, then again, I brine just about everything! :blink: Here is a thread from earlier that might help you a bit...
