Maverick ET 732 remote thermometer

After researching the love/hate comments on the Maverick ET 73 while trying to find a good remote thermometer, I find that Maverick has a new Model 732 which is supposedly an improved version of the 73. It seems to be too new to have much history of user comments, but I thought forum members might be interested in checking it out. Has anyone used this new model? Comments on it??

Looked it up yesterday and Maverick's site says available about the 12th. Some online sites are taking pre-orders now. Found a $10 discount through a online site.

There are some nice improvements: No more opening the battery compartment to turn on the RX - button on off; higher read temperatures - upper 500's; probes have a tighter weave; probes are rated into the 700° range.

I will buy one when they are available for shipment.

I don't think they are out yet. I have one on pre-order and looking forward to getting it. I am hoping this one will receive thru walls better than the last.

Like GG said- it is not actually available yet, only for pre-order. Thus, you probably won't be able to find reviews from folks that have actually used it.

I will say that I mostly love my ET-73. It does have a couple of quirks, and it looks like they have addressed those with the ET-732. If I were in the market for a remote thermometer and I didn't mind waiting until mid dec I would definitely purchase the ET-732. I'll probably upgrade one day- but I just got my ET-73 a few weeks ago.
