I have removed a lot of pork rib membranes but I recently tried removing a beef rib membrane. Failed miserably.[p]Is there some secret to removing the membranes from beef ribs?[p]Toy Man[p]

Toy Man, you will only get the outer skin to come off. There will be some very thin sheet left over. I run a sharp knife (score)down the back side of the rib bone after I have removed the memebrane. I leave it at that. Works fine and no rubbery leather to chew on.
