IT DROP!  Cooking 2-6 1/4 lb. boston butts.  Previously, always cooked 8 lb. butts at 12-13 hours.  Using digi q, (as always), put butts on at 1:30am.  Dome temp at 250, meat, at195.  Checked digi q at 6:30am and pit was 250, meat, 161.  By 7:00am, meat had dropped to 155 where it stayed for 5 hours.  We have never opened lid during a cook but felt something was wrong.  Quickly opened lid, reinserted meat probe and made sure fire was still good. At 1:00, finally, meat is up to 165, with pit increased to 290.   The fact that 3 hours before I need it to come off the grill for the cooler, it is 165, wouldn't worry me at all.  My question is...should I be worried that 5 hours into a cook, the IT dropped to 155 and stayed there 5 hours?  No, I don't normally watch the results so closely using my digi q but this cook is for friends to pick up this afternoon.  Am I worrying about nothing?
