All this work trying to get the cooler sounds like it would have been cheaper to just get the real thing.
  • Re: Can Someone Explain This Big Green Craig Pic for Me?

Craig got started off on the wrong foot and a few people here have delighted in never letting him forget that.  They made it "fashionable" to bash the guy.  I've been guilty every once in a while, especially if I've been drinking, of making a joke about t-shirts & firewires.  I don't think I've piled on, but it's possible on a Friday night.  IMO, he's taken more than his fair share of crap.
He didn't get started off on the wrong foot it was a year after he joined where he posted about winning Eggtoberfest. The guy is a douche he just can't help himself it is what he is.

People like you is why there is so much ignorance on the road. You are willing to hurt someone because their bike is loud? Give me a break! I'm sure there are many things you do in your life that don't sit well with others. Chill out and have a beer and let us ride!
I am willing to hurt someone because they are willing to hurt me. The first time the guy passed me it freaked me out I can't imagine what a 70 yr old thinks. I am 36 and sitting in traffic and a loud ass noise is 2' from me. I want an ATC to cruise around on I grew up with motor cycles and 3 wheelers but it's stupid entitled fucks like you that Rhine it for everyone. You are the dickhead we are referring to here.

I think it's the douche bag bikers that rouine it for the rest of them. My ride home from work hits parking lot traffic every day and the same **** head cruises right down the line between cars every day. I dream of pinning him between the car next to me.

If this '**** head' didn't lane split, would traffic move any faster?
The reason bikers split lanes ( which is legal in most states) most bikes are air cooled, which means they have to have air flowing through the engine to keep them cooled. If they had to stop in heavy traffic the bikes would overheat.
And when traffic is stopped and a loud ass noise passes you out of nowhere it freaks people out and causes accidents. If your POS can't idle don't drive it when you know there will be traffic. I will pin this guy one day.
  • Re: Kamado Joe Craig Tweets Again!

Did you guys know lump burns hotter in a BGE? A dealer told me that so it's true. A KJ won't get hot enough to sear a steak. On a serious note the quality of the ceramics on the BGE have gone way down. I was given a ceramic BGE that was almost 20 years old when I got it and the ceramic was much better quality. Solid and smooth and not porous. Even the ceramics in a 10 year old egg you can tell the difference from the new eggs just by touching it. If you don't think the egg is porous let it sit outside for a month then fire it up. It will leak moisture from the pours for 30 minutes. Check out some of fishlessmans posts with funk coming out of the ceramics. I have 3 egg bases crack in the last couple years I am pretty sure it's theheat you need to worry about not the cold.
