  • $800 out west. I drove a half day once to buy an XL for $600. Used eggs costs are highly regional. Start higher than you think and wait for hits. Lower the price as needed to move it. Good luck.

  • what about a kamado joe jr "nest".  I just bought a small bge nest last week to put my joe jr in. Probably redundant since you have the carten, but checking anyway.  New nest was kind of expensive, I think I paid $139.
  • Isn’t that more than new? I paid $1100 for my xl last spring with a nest and handler. I don’t know large prices I guess. Wow that’s a lot. I hate when people selling something new immediately believe they get full retail.

  • Sure feels like winter here driving through the frozen mountains of northern Nevada.
  • Love my medium, my favorite egg. Wouldn’t recommend it as the solo egg, but it’s a great daily driver if I could use the car analogy again.
  • @Beavercreek_Smoker, I remember your table, and how those stupid rubber bumpers pulled the ceramic glaze off of your small. Because of your post, I threw them out when I got my small nest a few days ago.  I really like your table, and that added bu…

  • Good suggestions, I used to use oven cleaner to clean my wsm grids, using the garbage bag method. Forgot about that. My AR came back pretty caked up with pork and general nastiness. I was going to just light the egg and run it through a cleaning cyc…
  • XL. don’t worry about fuel consumption. We have two hybrids in our house, one gets a little better mileage than the other because it is smaller. But the bigger hybrid still gets amazing fuel economy. The large and XL are both hybrids in the world of…
  • Awesome. Ive considered painting a mini, yellow was never one of the colors. But this is intriguing.

  • Family is most important in life, and it sounds like you have a good one. Enjoy that blackstone, it might help scratch the itch.
  • Got the small nest, it fits perfect. Someone on the kamado joe facebook group wanted the dimensions, I thought I would post them here if anyone wanted to know how the joe jr sits in the nest.  I decided I did not like my kamado joe jr stand that …

  • BPFBGE said: NO it is a reggulator made for the small/minimax/mini @BPFBGE, did you get this info from BGE, or your dealer?  Just curious as I am wondering how the same reggulator would work on the the MM/Small, and the mini.  MM/Small s…
  • I went to an ACE hardware dealer today to get a reggulator for my medium, and they hadn't heard of one for the small/mini max or mini yet.  Although, I am not sure that is saying much.  Hoping BGE has them for the smaller exhaust eggs soon as I am u…
