  • I would go on a bender tonight, if only to justify tucking in to that in the morning.
  • Dude, you’re famous on the interwebz.  This popped up on my Google cards/feed/whatever it’s called.
  • Sorry to hear this.  Chemo takes quite a toll on the body, and taste buds as well. Ask your mom how her sense of taste is, then go from there. Smoke may or may not be her thing right now. Some folks prefer bland foods, others prefer more aggressive…

  • Nice quick pies.  And seeing how Brandi did the heavy lifting, it appears that you have taken a page from @bgebrent 's playbook

  • Just a thought - but you could look for Weber kettles on CL. Used to be able to find them for $20-30. Could get 2-3, and maybe the church could use them for other cooks.

  • I agree with @Foghorn that the BGE's versatility is where it shines. You can cold smoke bacon or crank out Neapolitan-style pizza with the same cooker. Its not the best at each of  the things it can do, but does each of them well enough. And funnil…

  • Every once in a while, I'll get a bacon veggie cheese burger. Always takes a while for the cashier to figure out how to ring it up
  • Those sound and look pretty good from here.  Now... 20 lashes for the shortcuts

  • That tray doesn’t look half bad.  Re: what’s best in a given state, and how it compares to the best in the same category in another state, there will definitely be some that leave some (or a lot ) to be desired. For instance, I think Greek fare is …

  • Another shout out to @YukonRon from TX.  But be careful of these feisty things... I requested 3 and they multiplied to 12 by the time they got here And since you were adamant about not accepting reimbursement for these or shipping, I’ll try and …
  • Showoff! Impressive cook (even plating) with one squawker, let alone 2.

  • Last campfire of our trip to the Oregon Coast. It’s been great, and sad that it’s over tomorrow.
  • Made it to the OR coast (Ft Stevens @Jeremiah) . Renting an RPod 180 and it’s pretty cozy, but not bad.  No egg here, but managed to put together Thai shrimp curry for dinner last night.
