  • The large will be moved to the lake house. My local hardware store has the XL priced at 1150. The "package" includes plate setter, ash tool, grill lifter, nest with table wings, and probably lighter cubes and a bag of charcoal for 1450.

  • I am feeling good about the rib rack idea. It is a 14lb packer. I am thinking 1 1/2 hours per pound, 225-250 surface temp, as an estimate. Does that sound right?

  • And here it is...fresh off the egg. 135 internal. Very moist and tender. Even the kids ate it and said they loved it. leftovers will become fish tacos later. Thank you all for the help.

  • and even then, the lid wont close on the front. 
  • when i close the lid, it pushes the gasket off the rim. what should i do?
