  • It is very moist, I stayed around 225 to 250  toward the end I let it creep up to 300. The butts are just way to greasy for me. Again MHO   
  • They are froma local producer "Columbia Farms" they use them to make "chicken strips". They are 9 to 12 week old birds.
  • I worked in a heat treating facility for 25 years we tempered metals at less than that! LOL Really at 900 degrees you can't ask for much better. Mine (felt) burnt out in one month.
  • It was a samml butt I started at 9.00am that morning and finished at 6 that night. And yes I have reakky enjoyed it. Built a table for it the first thing will post some pics of it tonight.
  • It is at home. And yes I have had several of the guys over. Did last Sunday night for super bowl. Did chickens, ribs, boston butt, wings, and fatties.
