  • I went Loom and Leaf last year and have been very happy with it so far. I would recommend them and do it again myself. https://www.loomandleaf.com/
  • That is a nice little setup. What is the Egg sitting on?

  • I bought a cheap coffee grinder and grind my spices into a fine powder for seasoning almonds when I smoke them. It does help them to stick a little better.
  • Very nice! I wish I had time to get back into my woodshop, life just to busy lately. BTW, I have that same Radio Shack thermometer. I'm guessing mine is almost 30 years old and still reliable.

  • That looks great. We love Egged plant parm. In the summer we make tomato sauce from fresh tomatoes on the egg just for eggplant parm and it is always a big hit. It's one of the only totally non meat meals I eat. We also use the excess sauce on a sid…
  • Legume said: https://youtu.be/rm5zFkcbYjY It sure looks like I know what I am doing, but I really don't. Anyway, I managed to post your video.

  • Legume said: Hungry Joe said: https://youtu.be/PrTs8bdVT78  how do I post a youtube video here? I've done it in the past but it's not working now. Is it political?  I’ll only share the secret if it’s for a political video. …

  • Good day so far. I threw some sliders on my truck (yeah, not edible sliders). Now I have some sweet potatoes on the egg and getting ready to sear some Mahi Mahi on some cast iron.
  • It a shame plasma TV's are dead. As far as what to buy? Well that depends how much you want to spend.
  • After about a year and a half mine looked pretty bad. I posted pictures somewhere on the forum. Most people seem happier with their KAB and most don't seem to have a problem. Mine doesn't sound as bad as yours does. Do you do a lot of high temp coo…

  • One good thing is you make stuff that will fit in any cooker I would buy. Initially when I bought my second egg I made it a second large so I could use the Adjustable Rig or Woo in which ever egg needed it. In the end I ended up buy two of everythin…

  • I actually just watched the video, I agree it is a rip off of the woo. I still think the adjustable rig has it's merits.  I use both the adjustable rig and the woo with a mix of my own rigs. I have two LBGE's and ended up buying the rig and woo fo…
  • I've had a chance to use the divide and conquer system and as much as I like some of the improvements KJ have made to their cookers, the CGS adjustable rig is superior.  I think BGE does have some catching up if they want to stay on top and appeal …
  • I don't mind a high priced meal if I leave feeling satisfied. Last week I had a bone in filet for $60, just the steak. It was ok but I know I do better. As for the whole meal, it was a little pricier then yours but over all was pretty good so I didn…
