I have found something that to me works really well. I use google docs and keep all of my recipes on line. I can access them anywhere there is a pc or on my phone. I love the fact that if I see something on line I can just copy and paste..
If you don't have one get a kitchen scale. That way you can jot down the weights of the spices.
It is easier to weigh the stuff than to use measuring spoons.
