Hello Eggheads...I've been enjoying the forum and I'm glad to see I have a crutch to lean on while I go through the learning curve of cooking on the Egg.  Always wondered what all the fuss was about so I purchased an XL at a local Eggfest last October.  I see there are a few fellow Bubbleheads on here too so it must be a classy sort of place like the Horse N Cow

  • I have a Thermoworks  Duo that has Bluetooth connectivity on my IPhone.  I’d opt for a WiFi model since Bluetooth range isn’t that great.  If I’m doing longer cooks I typically use my FB300 controller & it has WIFI so rarely lose connection.
  • I use one of these in my MES & I’ve seen where others use them on the Egg.  They are also great if you plan on doing any cold smoking.  A-maze-N tube smoker.
