  • @DoubleEgger @TideEggHead  I went with the Franchi Instinct SL.  20ga, 28” barrels with an aluminum receiver.  Weighs only 5.8lbs so I really liked that for carrying in the field.   As with all shotguns it’s about how the shoulder.  I held one abou…

  • @tjv thanks for the products you supply.  I just ordered a PSwoo extender kit this week from you.  Looking forward to having more area to cook on the LBGE.
  • Tacos, nachos, chili, breakfast with eggs, in an omelette, on a salad, etc etc.
  • meat from local meat markets or costco/Sams club.  Produce in the summer from farmers markets around town.  Everything else we get from hyvee and if you spend $100 they deliver to your house for free.  They also offer a pretty good fuel saver discou…

  • all these posts have given me some inspiration and I have rocked a beard for almost 10 years now.  I understand a beginner should use the futur.  what else!?!?!?!
  • it seems as if you have the details down.  Every brisket and egg is different, i find my egg settles in right at 240-250 for low and slow cooks.  some folks wrap their briskets once they reach 180 IT or so.  I personally do not but its all preferenc…
  • first off congrats on finding that score.  second I would have probably taken the small GE off your hands.  Not very often they become available up here in MN.

  • impressive cook, can we assume it tasted as good as it looks?
  • Very impressive post, good work.
  • Started the weekend with garlic and herb chops and a twice baked spud on the egg.  Side salad has the first cut of lettuce from the garden.  Beer is a local brewery’s summer offering.
  • I cold smoke cheddar the with A-mazn smoker, let it mild out for 2 week in the fridge.  I like to use that on burgers.  I have also done smoked Gouda and I am also a fan of mozzarella.
  • normally I skip the longer posts as they get a bit wordy, I read every word of this.  Incredible story and like many others incredibly jealous of the adventure and the cook.
  • Brooks was solid all day long. Impressive winning two in a row.  Secondary story is DJ blowing a lead and really not being much of a factor.
