  • Ragtop99 said: pricey toy.  I used a rotisserie on my gasser with cornish game hens with good results.  I wonder how often I'd use it. Does the novelty would wear off after a half dozen cooks due to the extra set-up and cleaning? Setup i…

  • @JRWhitee sorry, I posted it from my phone... I am still learning... Just wanted to show my "proof" of my 1st spin :-)
  • Canugghead said: I guess you can post the pic, for example your egg kitchen, right click on the photo, 'copy image address' and paste it into your profile image url?  It won't work on my phone...at least not how I've tried anyway... I will ke…

  • I rarely post photos on here because I can't figure out how to do it directly from my phone. I have to email myself the photo and then upload it from my computer. It's a pain in the ass and I don't want to wait that long to eat!
  • I believe you that it happened, and I appreciate the advice on ultra securing the meat!
  • @nolaegghead LOL! I've boiled water in a stainless steel pot on my egg...I actually canned pickles in it, using my egg kitchen this fall. It was fun, & my house didn't smell like vinegar when I was done!
  • nolaegghead said: Can you boil water with it? Ummm, no.
  • @blasting the jotisserie or the ribolator?
  • Hmmm... maybe I will get the ribolator for my bday in Feb and try it out :-) I gotta pace myself or my husband will suspend my allowance, LOL!
  • @R2Egg2Q Could you wrap it in foil to make clean up easier? Maybe that's a dumb question, but since I don't have one, I wondered... Or maybe it's dishwasher safe?
  • GrateEggspectations said: This post is making me think of http://www.ribolator.com/ I bet that could work really well with the jotisserie for shrimp or kabobs or ribs (multiple racks, no basket)...oh my brain is "spinning" with ideas!
  • GrateEggspectations said: This post is making me think of http://www.ribolator.com I wonder if I can make that work with the joetisserie!
  • @Dredger thanks for the pliers tip!
  • @Raymont is that a large or XL BGE?
  • blasting said: suomycasino said: Thanks everyone for your replies. I have been around the BGE for about 10 years or so now. I guess my initial question was, what NEW products are on the market that work with the egg. Sous …

  • I've ordered the table nest for my XL, and the MiniMax already sits in one...so I'm considering putting a fiberglass pad or something under the MM, just to protect the wood from embers.  However, when I use the MM, I do scoot it closer to the edge, …
