RRP here... not sure what that smuck is doing tonight with his OT posts but it proves to me anyway that this forum has no moderators worth their salt. Some posts here recently are not only sophomoric, but very crude! BGE must not care and to me that says a lot. I'm not a prude by any means, but women and children should stay away IMO!

They frown on mentioning the old forum, so I thought I'd make this private.  The best pulled beef recipe I've used is Clay's BBQ beef on the old forum.  This link should get you there:

O.K. one more thought ...I'm going for the PS-Woo ring (with the Plate Setter for the Large egg) and the remote thermometer and the stainless fire grate from High Que to start with. (Saturday!!!). I know that I'm going to end up smoking / cooking everything under the sun on this unit but my primary focus is going to be Slow smoked Lamb and pork shoulder for (respectively) Pulled Lamb and Pulled Pork and slow cooking whole chickens and turkey.
are there any specific things I need to add to my initial acquisition to deal with these menu items?

Be sure to read my post about Humphrey charcoal in the topic you started. I would be interested in buying some. I live in Lancaster and would come up and pick up my order. Hopefully others from the area will also contact you.
