Also got some grapes from the neighbor. Any ideas on what to do with them?

It does look like a fun night. That calzone would fill me up alone (as long as I didn't have to share ;) )

Wow Molly! The calzone looks perfect! as does everything else. Your guest were very lucky. Were the tomato's and onions raw when you put them in and was that any particular kind of dough?

Some of these look pretty good Molly, I have never tried any of them but thought they looked interesting. Many call for seedless grapes but if yours have good flavor I wouldn't sweat the difference.

Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs with Grape Salsa

    grape and taleggio grilled cheese

Grilled Tuna Steaks with Grape and Caper Salsa

Quail Fricassee With Grapes And Almonds

Grilled Quail With Red Seedless Grapes

Grape Vanilla Salsa with Parmesian Crackers

Grilled Pork Chops with Grape and Fig Chutney

    Salmon with Blueberry Grape Salad

Grape Chicken This one even calls for Dizzy Pig Seasoning! :)

Grape and Ricotta Pizza with Thyme, Bacon and Honey

Finger Lake Grape Bread Need to scroll down a little for this one.

Back when I was cooking I was given some really nice, big veal chops. I quickly pan seared them till golden brown and put them on a sheet pan in the oven to finish them off. While they finished I de-glazed the fry pan with some port wine, a spoonful of grape jelly, a pat or two of butter, a little S&P, a little fresh nut meg, all done by eye and to taste and simmered down to thicken and intensify a bit (a little red wine or balsamic vinegar or lemon juice might be good also). After it had simmered and shortly before serving I added the grapes sliced in half. I didn't want to cook them till they were all shriveled to nothing but left some freshness and plumpness to them and served the grape sauce over the chops. Served it with a wild rice mix and a veggie. :)

Molly, you might want to call Egret for advice about the grapes. I've heard he was an expert! :woohoo:

Nice calzone and Broncos jersey! :)

Ahhh - good friends and good food! Doesn't get much better than that. My vote on the grapes - chill them and eat them - plain old grapes.

    Molly,

Calzone looks like a real winner. ;) I'd toss those grapes in the freezer for an hour or two and snack on them later. but the boys and I love almost frozen grapes. They never really get hard like you'd think. give it a whirl
