I seem to remember a color hand drawing of a Weber kettle set-up indirect as a smoker. I can't seem to find it. Do any of you know the drawing, if so please post it.
Thanks in advance,

Just put the coals and smoking wood on one side and the meat over the area with no coals under it.You can split the fire to 2 sides and leave the center open for the meat.Easy.

Have fun with it. Maybe same could be used in a larger Egg, without having to buy a plate setter? -
Thanks.....

Excellent thread for smoking on a kettle. Get a few firebricks and you are good to go. (three year old thread, still active too)

used to do it all the time yeah pretty easy. beware of really hot fires sometimes they burn much to hot check the meat in 15-30 if they are starting to char the fires to hot mist some water on the fire and clos the vents. webers can be a little inconsistant. also i have seen the fire splti with a foil drip pan in the middle
