Wicked Good Charcoal

My wife, Nan picked me up a couple of bags of Wicked Good Charcoal to try. It lit fairly well with a fire starter. It did take a little while to spread and get hot. When it did it was hotter than usual lump I use. Some pieces were large (the size of 2-3 fists put together.)
I have read The Naked Whiz's review so I thought I'd give it a try.
Have others used it much. How do you use it for low and slow cooks. Does it work as well for low and slow cooks (butts and briskets) as other lump??
Is it worth getting a pallet??????
All thoughts appreciated.
Thanks

I works extremely well on low and slows. It is my lump of choice when I do the Troop Cooks I do. When I shut down my eggs after cooking all night I have to throw most of it away. Tough to carry hot lump in moving pick-up

A bunch of us Okie eggers have split up several pallets of W-G. There is another pallet load enroute to us now.
We like it. -
Is there anybody that sells it at the fest in October?

I don't remember seeing wicked good. Although 5 bags of BGE only cost 40 bucks a few years ago. Not sure what it is now, but at $.40 a lb it is/was a good deal.

Can't wait for arrival of next pallet. Low and Slow is the way I go when it's 104 outside like it is now. Hardly takes any lump to get to 225.

I like everything about WG except the time to get up to temp seems slower than BGE/Royal Oak. WG will cruise at 250° or go full afterburner at 650°, if you open up the vents. Local dealer charges .96 cents/# for BGE, or our local group buy we can get a pallet of WG delivered for .73 cents/# so I load up on WG!"Bacon tastes gooood, pork chops taste gooood." - Vincent Vega, Pulp Fiction

I thank you all for your comments!!!
