That is one really nice table!Dave San Jose, CA The Duke of Loney
-
Nice, what kind of surface is that?
-
Thanks, it's a natural sandstone. Very porous so I put 3 coats of a sealer on it.
-
Really nice!
-
Mark,
Now that is a table that will last a lifetime or two! Nice work. I hope you never have to move it .
That is the best table I've seen in a while - really awesome. Congratulations.
Stone is expensive (like I have to tell you). Good thing about employee discounts eh? -
Yes the discounts help...lol Thank you very much, I really like it too. It looks better in person. Haven't cooked on it yet with this setup...stop over we'll fire it up!!!!
-
Mark, very nice, consider submitting it to the Nakedwhiz website in his gallery of egg tables, it'd be a great addition; by the way, I have a similar stone top on my table, I put about 6 coats of sealer on it & it still gets stained..., if you want to avoid long term stains that won't come out, frequently clean & reseal it, Marc

Wow, nice job! Did you do it all yourself? Are those ss units refrigerated or rather fore weather-tight storage? Happy cookin'!
-
Very very nice. Got any in-process pics? Go ahead and tell us how its made and what's in it. You know you want to!
-
Thanks Marc. How do I submit it?
-
No they are actually ss doors so I room for all my accessories.
-
Very nice table
-
Mark, go to the site & click on the 'photo galleries' section, I can't recall the exact details but I believe there are instructions there on how to submit your photo; once you submit the picture, it will take a week or so before it appears, I think TNW adds a few at a time... while you are there, check out some of the tables, there has to be over 100 by now, some very interesting stuff, Marc
-
That is one of the best looking tables I've seen in awhile!
-
Outstanding job. Love the look and that storage is da bomb.
-
I should of taken pics of when I was building it. I put an aggregate compacted base and then laid out the block coursing and basically glued and stock the block, put angles for the opening, put doors on. I special ordered the sandstone top in 3 pieces with a 21" hole cut in the center. It was actually pretty easy just a lot of work but it was fun. I sell the material so I couldn't afford wood...lol
-
There's a lot of nice tables out there, but thank you
-
Verry nice work Mark!!
That stack stone is great to work with, and will last a lifetime!
Enjoy!!
EvansI spent most of my money on good bourbon, and bad women...the rest, I just wasted!! -
Nice! Love your fence too
-
Thank you. I wish I could show you pics of my whole back yard...lol I had to build this table behind my pool house which is a shame because you really can't see it from my house. I now have 3 cooking stations, 2 of which I will never use because they are gassers. I'll try and find some pics to show you what I mean
-
Are you saying you gluded the stones togather?Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.
-
yes with adhesive that I sell. It comes in a caulking tube. This baby will last a lifetime But now I have plenty of room to buy more accessories...lol
-
Great job! That's an alter that could be used to sacrifice meat to the food gods.
-
Thanks, it's a little bigger than I really wanted to make it but with the doors being as large as they are I didn't have much choice
-
Great looking table. I'm jealous. How about you coming to my place and making me one?
-
That can be arranged...lol Where would I be going? Somewhere nice and better than Ohio I hope
-
THAT! Is breathtaking. Well done.
-
If you consider Augusta, GA nice and can handle the extreme heat we have now, then we might be able to work something out. If you enjoy playing golf, then we can definitely make a deal.
Seriously congrats on your new table. I would never attempt that on my own. If I did, it would be totally lopsided and look like a 10 year old did it. I'm not handy when it comes to things like that. -
Now that's a table!!! I am sure you are really proud of that one - just eggzelent!!
So did you just buy the ss doors or is it a ss insert with shelves and all. I've been trying to decide how to do something like that.
