I've done hot tubbing a few times w/out much success. How long did you keep it in the spa? The steaks look good, how did they turn out?

I season them first and then in the Hot Tub for 1 hour then on the BGE, my spa is set at 102 degs, I ahve been doing my steaks like this for 2 years now and they are allways great!
When going on the egg I try to have it up to 650 plus and it is about 1 min per side for 1 in thick steaks for a mice med rare finish.
    Good luck

I didn't know hot tubbed steaks required a hot tub. I don't have one...now what do I do?

Well you canjust put them in the sink with hot water but you will want to try to keep temp around the same, in the hot tub it stays 102 and I don't have to keep checking water temp

duchunter, with our current weather, I think I could just set them outside for an hour, then throw them on the barbie. Your steaks look nice.
