I have sent my card in at least a month and half ago….my question is am I to receive a confirmation that the Mother Ship has received my information?

Nothing returned for the 4 I've sent in. Just be sure to keep your receipt though if I were you.Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

No, you won't receive any confirmation. If you want to make sure they have it, you'll have to call them. The Naked Whiz

Thanks all

I purchased a new EGG a while back and never seen anything to send in?
-
crap, this is the first i've heard of a registration card. I've got 2 eggs new and never sent any card in? This doesn't sound good....

Usually as long as you have the receipt, you will be ok.The Naked Whiz

I called BGE a coupld of months back to make sure they got my warranty cards for my small, medium and large, they said they were way behind on entering the warranty information and that as long I had my receipt I was good to go...this from Bruce at headquarters

that's what i was afraid of... me keeping a receipt is like... um.. impossible. Perhaps i can call and maybe both places can give me a copy of receipt..damn, i just threw my new small egg stuff away today. crap.

Do you ever get conformation for any warranty card sent in? Nope.
-
So.... you didn't read all the documentation that came with the eggs?
-
The card is the instruction book.

guess not. Shame on me. My first egg was assembled at my house by my dealer, i did get a dvd and owners manual. Having spent some time on this forum prior to purchasing i felt pretty comfortable just jumping in and start cooking. I'm sure i skimmed through the manual, didn't see any registration card. Never had a need to look at it again... When i get the second i didn't even look at the owners manual, just the loose piece of paper on how to assemble bands. Never seen a warrenty card for that one either. Is it attached in the owners manual? :ermm:

I'm pretty sure we've been down this road before and vaguely I recall there is a law that says you do not have to register but OTOH you need to have proof of purchase. Furthermore if you establish a relationship with your dealer that is what's important - most warranty issues are addressed via the dealer not directly with Atlanta. I wouldn't lose a lot of sleep over it.Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.
