Burned Pizza Crust

I attempted to do a Fresh Costco Pizza tonight on a large BGE and Pizza Stone. The crust burned into charcoal! What did I do wrong?

    Did you use a plate setter? If you set the stone right on the grate it got too hot. Use the plate setter and the stone for more ceramic mass under the crust and to raise it higher .

    Don't know what you did WRONG until you tell us what you DID.

    I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
