Goin' to Harry Soo's class!

Wifey's been on a few girly trips with her friends in the last couple months, so I decided I needed to go on my own trek.

I'm flying out Friday morning, doing the Hollywood tourist thing Friday afternoon and evening, then going to the Pitmaster class in Diamond Bar, CA. Saturday morning.

Harry uses WSMs, but his cooks get accolades, so maybe I'll learn a few tricks!

Enjoy the trip. I am curious how the hollywood flavors taste. I think that is what he referred to them as on BBQ pitmasters.

Awesome! That should be a great time. I saw him at a Scottsdale competition and he did quite well.

Sometimes I help Smitty the Smoker at different local comps. Harry Soo is usually there, he is a tough competitor and usually places well. And yes he drives up in his minivan and cooks on WSM. Let us know how his class is.

Enjoy LA, if you're looking for BBQ stay away from Mr Cecils and Texas King BBQ, try Zekes, it's in Hollywood, it's not cheep but they do a good job.

Should be a good event, have fun. Harry Soo seems to be a real nice, down to earth guy. He did a Q&A session a few months back for the WSM forum, it was pretty interesting:
