I am new to the egg thing and was wondering if there is a reason to remove the metal top and put on the green cap? My cap does not fit right, it rocks around so I don't see where it would help put out the fire. The metal top seems to close tight. SO is there a reason for the green top?

have never used my green top.

You already posted that question a little over 1.5 hours ago.
But yes, I remove mine and place it inside and use the green top. Mine is also loose but snuffs the fire just fine. -
Sorry
I ended up posting this twice by mistake -

I was backing up the browser and for some reason it posted again.

Ahhh...I see that.....13 seconds prior to my post

no need to go break anything, it might be less expensive to break your fist or finger than an egg!!!
-
I could smash a finger in the EGG. :woohoo:

Just have a beer and forget about it
