Wifey asked if we could come up with something to do on the egg to use the extra pizza dough that I bought from Friday nights' dinner. While she and the munchkin were out on a playdate, I decided to give some Stromboli a try... Sorry I didn't get any pics of it going together, but basically I rolled out the pizza dough into a rectangle using a rolling pin and lots of flour so it wasn't sticky. I brushed the top with EVOO, then some Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and some sprinkle Parmesan cheese. Put the sauce on top of that then cheese for one and also pepperoni for the other. Rolled them up, brushed on an egg wash, then egged them on 600 for about 20 minutes. They came off just as the girls were getting home and my wife was very pleased!
Rolled and washed, ready for eggin:
Turned them half way through (had a bit of a blowout):
All done, and perfect all around:

Fantastic! Can you teach my husband how to whip up stuff like that for dinner when _I'm_ out on a playdate?!

Thanks everyone! I was pretty proud of this one and it was the first that I didn't look up in the forum ahead of time, but seemed to come out perfect to us :woohoo:
EggZactly, I get that a lot. Because of my work hours I'm home pretty early in the day, therefore I usually have dinner ready when my wife gets home most nights (unless my afternoon naps run late  ). I get grief from all the mothers and fathers at the daycare about it! The other problem is that my wife can't really cook... Her folks used to own a restaurant so when she wanted to eat, she would just go there and have it made for her, I'm a latch key kid (do they still have those...). Had to fend for myself, and sometimes cook for my folks too!
