I want to cook something for dinner, just not sure what. We have had spatchcock, thighs, hamburgers, all came out good. I don"t want something that"s going to take along time.
Any suggestions would be nice, i"m still trying different things to get use to this egg thing. I just don"t want to get burned out on chicken. thanks in advance...Peace...

Something that doesn't take too long?
How about some fish?
Maybe some salmon?
Or a nice chunk of mahi mahi?
How about a steak?
Pizza?
Nothin' wrong with a good old brat...or maybe francheesie.
Don't forget dessert!

I agree with the pork loin. I've also been cooking brats on my new adjustable rig on the highest level, direct. I use the same brats all the time and I swear to God they are the tastiest this way. No worries about charring them. Nothing is worse than a brat that's black and crunchy on the outside, yet raw and bloody on the inside. I like to dice onions up and stir in some yellow mustard about an hour or so before eating... Now I know what I'M having!!!!!

After seeing those pics, i'm ready to bolt out ot here (work) and fire up the egg.

Little steven, how long does that take to cook, It"s already 4:00pm on the east coast..

sirlancealot,
Surprisingly short. Maybe 35 minutes a pound. You can cut them into chops if you are really rushed. If you do the roast and it isn't ready when you are you can bump the temps. I like it cause it stays incredibly moist.

That brat looked great. Is it just wrapped in bacon and grilled?
-
oh no, not nearly enough fat if you just wrap it in bacon. There's a slit down one side, with cheese stuffed inside...THEN it's wrapped in bacon to hold the cheese in. That particular sausage was an Eckrich smoked sausage...more similar to kielbasa than bratwurst.
