There is a restaurant in Reno Nevada that does Macadamia nut crusted Halibut that is Awesome. Can't wait to try it on the Lamb.[p]I guess I will be stopping by Sam's on the way home tommorrow.

I cooked (in the oven) some pecan encrusted flounder the other day, and the family loved it. I crushed up the pecans, mixed in some rub (raging river) and some panko breadcrumbs, egg washed and coated the fish and baked at 400. Yowza. Lots of possibilities to explore with nuts. Hmm.

Nature Boy,[p]Have you ever tried Mayonaise in place of the egg wash? (try it you'll like it)! [p]My favorite fish is Striper fillets with salt-pepper-garlic powder, then coat with mayonaise and cook @375 for 17/19 minutes (depends on the thickness of fillet). I also turn the oven to broil for the last minute to brown the top (purely for looks).[p]

No, but dangit I have heard it mentioned as a slathering for fish before a rub, and I have been wanting to give it a go.[p]I will give this a try! Thanks
