Wild Turkey Cook

I got a Wild turkey yesterday and egged the breast today. Brined it overnight with rosemary and salt and rubbed with evoo, black pepper, and paprika.

This was my first wild turkey on the egg but it turned out pretty good. We prefer 173-175 chicken breast so I pulled the turkey at 174. By our standards it was still moist and turned our really well. We just can't do the 160-165 breast. Too conditioned by years on the weber I guess.

Ready for the egg

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Ed, it's easier to fix a broken pic post than it is to explain. :) Posting pics here is a pita!! Did I get the right plated pic? The actual file name was missing on that one (xxxx.jpg) so I just took a stab at it.

    For future reference...

Upload the pic to PB (or wherever).
    Copy the image location.
Go back to your post and click "Img", paste your image location, then click "Img" again. No spaces.

Molly's (Cookn biker) email was probably more detailed. Don't give up on it - everyone around these parts LOVES pics!! Good luck next time!
