Sunday monring - pic heavy

Egged a bunch this morning - maybe we will make it through the week :woohoo:
Had the XL and SBGE fired up
Jambalaya and spatchcock chicken on the XL
Boudin, black beans, pineapple, and asparagus on the SBGE
Breakfast - Boudin and black beans
Pecan smoke on some garlic sausage for a jambalaya
Moved into the house to add rice and finish
It was a mix someone gave us a long time ago - pretty good
One more eggsperiment with pineapple - found two nice ripe ones at a veggie stand
Skinned and made a handle
Removed eyes, rubbed with K-salt, and rinsed
Trying something different - DP Dizzy Dust on one and Rum and Cream de Cocao on the other - added Turbinado sugar to both
Vacuum packed and in the fridge overnight
Grilled on the Small
The pineapple was real good but my main judge and traveling companion, and chief financial officer have decided brown sugar and DP Pineapple Head is the way to go
Rubbed with Hoochie Mama and chillin my breast
Spatch on the XL - tried something different - Raised grid at 550. This rascal was done in less than 45 minutes - skin is eggcelent
Finally - some veggies. Asparagus on two levels on the Small
Had the XL and SBGE fired up

Lookin good! Last time we were down LA-way visiting the wife's family in Monroe, I picked up a cooler-full of crawfish boudin and brought it back to S-MD where we live. We've been cookin an eatin on it for some time now. Got a large brisket cookin on the LBGE right now.
