Hot dogs all around last night. Mine are the long ones that were all beef Eckrich brand. I had never seen them before, but they were really good. Mom did hers traditionally, but I had picked up a pack of freshly baked onion rolls, and I just couldn't resist using them. One was with a homemade pork chili sauce, sweet onions, and graded Queso Asadero (Mexican Provalone). The other was just a good 'ol mustard and kraut dog. The onion rolls were a great addition.

This morning is the first sun we've seen in several days.

Good weeekend to all.

Nice rolls, your kraut samitch looks great.
Enjoy the sun! Cloudy here and in a heat wave, could hit 32 today and I don't like a January thaw.

ah a practice cook for when his majesty visits. You are a smart fella practicing, as nothing is too good for his royalness.

In true West Texas fashion, upon his arrival you gonna do a white dove release followed up immediately with the 12 gage (clay pigeon/dove) salute.
