I have a 14 inch BGE stone for my large egg. I am going to get a stone for my medium egg today, does the 12 inch work better on the medium?

I use a 16" stone on the large, 14" on the medium and 12" on the small. You may experience gasket problems with the larger stone sizes if you have the felt gaskets which have been having so much trouble lately. But you should be fine if you use the nomex gasket or some other non-felt gasket. I have no problem at all getting my large up to 600 or higher with the 16" stone. Good luck! The Naked Whiz

Thanks for the advice, I figured my 14 inch stone would work fine on the medium, but went ahead and got the 12 inch, now I have both so I will have a couple different options.
