Sweet!! she is going to love the egg :)
  • What a nice gift! :) :) We have a chocolate and a black lab, both females as well. They are very loyal and loving dogs, smart too. Puppies do chew though. Keep an eye on the furniture.

Looks like she's already right at home. I know she'll be a great companion. Our chocolate doesn't let us out of her sight.

  • She looks like a great pup, and the extra plus is you'll never have to sweep the kitchen again. :silly:
  • Thanks everybody! She's doin great so far...shes my 2nd chocolate, lost Jackson about 3 years ago... great friend and huntin partner. He made it to 13, pretty good for a bigger dog. I hope I have the time to make a duck hunter out of this one!

  • dang, thats what I asked for from Santa....but he didn't come thru. My chocolate is getting old (12 in April); she was just happy to hang out on the sofa while we opened presents. She's lucky, 3 boys since she was our baby and Santa still remembered to bring her a present this year..

Cute looking puppy; hope she's as good as mines been all her life! Labs are great pets B) Hide anything you want to keep; I used to cut up chunks of 2x4 to let her chew on when she was a puppy, worked pretty well while we were at work.
  • Later on, we shared common interests, pondering those wonders of life............or something  It was a good day!
  • :silly: see she likes to leave you "presents in bed" too :woohoo:
That's a great looking Lab puppy Chris. Like many around here I'm a Lab freak also. I grew up with Black's and have had a Chocolate also, color makes no difference, they are all wonderful friends. I just found one of the only photos of the best one I ever had.
He is actually half Yellow Lab and half Golden Retriever. Close enough. He was 12 months when I got him (in Bass Harbor, Maine)and had been severely abused. It took another year to get his head straight as he had been beaten often. He learned to love everybody and had friends everywhere. When I took this photo I am sure I had a tennis ball in one hand and the tip of his tail would be going a mile a minute. LOL, he could clear off a coffee table with that broom.
She looks like all you need do is add water, she will take care of finding the ducks . . . or tennis balls.
I'm sure you already know, a good Lab is a tired Lab. That's a breed that needs LOTS of exercise.

Looking forward to seeing many more pictures of her in the future.

  • ;) our first was half Golden/half Great Pyranese

    All retrievers are great B)
