Finally, I get to spend some quality time on the Egg. Here is my list for the next few days...
Christmas Eve... ABT's and Moink Balls to take to my Brother's place tonight.
Christmas Day...a 20 lb Bird. We got 14 for dinner.
Boxing Day...Brisket. For no special reason. I just haven't done a brisket in a while.
Looking towards New Years Eve, I'm thinking Pulled Pork.

On behalf of the whole GOV family, we wish you all the best of the Holiday Season!

    Hi Tim:

Sounds like some great cooks. If you have any left overs, send them eastbound on the QE.

    We're doing:

Christmas Eve: Rouladen using veal scallopini instead of the traditional beef.
Christmas Day: Turkey at my brother's place.
Boxing Day: A 7 bone prime rib and a 10lb ham (maple/burbon - ala Egret)
(we're expecting 25 - left overs - beef barley soup on the 27th)
New Years Eve: I don't know yet.
Traditionally we have Raclette. As Anke is working that night, I'm
not sure. If Raclette, I'm sure I'll do up some beef, pork,
chicken, shrimp or something like that to go with all the deli
    meats and cheese from Starsky.

Wishing the GOV family and everyone else on the forum a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

    Michael

Tim, I'm glad to see I'm not the only cooking fool here. I was up until 3:30 last night cooking and baking. That's quite a lineup you have and some major cooks. I'm doing alot of appetizers and dessert/cookie things. I picked up a beautiful tenderloin for tenderloin sliders with horseradish sauce and I'm going to do my first try at Prime Rib on New Year's eve.

Merry Christmas to you and your family!!

It's an extra Stat Holiday for us Canucks.
You get two days at Thanksgiving. We get it at Christmas.
Boxing Day is a British thing. The day you box up all your Chirstmas leftovers and wrapping paper and stuff.

Merry Christmas Tim, and thanks again for all your efforts with NieggaraFest. We had a blast.
    Our Egg menu?
Prime rib tonight, and food-savered pulled pork for 20 tomorrow. Hadn't thought about Boxing Day, but we'll be in the Caymans and I'm sure we'll observe it, just without the egg
