Is this a good deal?

I have looked into this a little and it is actually being sold by my local dealer where I have purchased three of my eggs. They told me it is one year old. I think if I can get them to write it up as a new purchase for the warranty it is a done deal. According to Bubba's Green Book it also appears to be a good deal.

IMHO, it is not a great deal, maybe a good deal, probably a fair deal. I would try to get under 6.

Do you think the warranty is a must have for that price?

I read a lot how after eggfests you can buy the eggs they use for a discounted price. I assume these eggs still would have the warranty?

The platesetter looks nearly new. You have about $900 in retail items (before tax). It is a good deal for a 1yr old barely used egg.

A demo egg at FL is $665 without tax and without a platesetter. Since it is form yuor dealer, he should warranty it. You won't get hurt buying it.
