Just finished watching it.
The guy from Texas was almost as arrogant as Myron. I got to believe that the producers of that show asked Myron to act the way he did.
All I can say is Competitions are no where near like they portrayed ..
I won't be watching it again.. -
Oh the horror of the clip where the wind blew over the LGE. My heart sunk as they tried to put the egg back together again.

Quite obviously the producers persuaded the featurted teams into adding drama. Myron & Johnny are no where near as arrogant as portrayed and Tuffy is the most humble person you would ever meet.
The show does give a good view of what competitors go through to compete and overall I enjoyed it. The public is whom they are attempting to create appeal, not thoes who already know about cometetitive BBQ. The drama they added, hopefully will create interest in thoes who have never seen this world.
I really doubt The deadliest catch or iceroad truckers is portrayed exactly as it really is, but they are entertaining, so we watch.

they should get some bbq genius in there who is arrogant already, and doesn't need to be asked to amp it up for the cameras
