I've seen a number of pizza stones photographed here that have a beautiful coating to them that makes them look non-stick. There's even one posted today with chocolate Chip cookies on it.
How do people get it to this point? Is if just like cast iron, time?

the more you use it, the more seasoned it becomes. Start using it a bunch.

Check out Primos pizza stone. It's ceramic coated. Not sure if it's non-stick..I always use parchment paper.

Yup, you can speed up the process by baking cresent rolls or puff pastry, or cookies. Need something that has alot of butter to leech into the stone

Try a little cornmeal on the store before you place the pizza. Cornmeal, not cornbread mix.

Depends on what you want to use it for. If you are going to use it for baking bread, pizza, etc. you don't want to "season" it with grease. You want to keep it clean and porous. One of benefits of baking bread on a stone is that it can absorb some of the moisture in the dough to help form that crispy bottom crust. The Naked Whiz
