The best rib method is almost guaranteed to be the next one you use.
If you want some good advice, I'd suggest Carwash Mike. If you don't want to bother him, just search the forum as he (and some other very good cooks) have answered hundreds of rib questions from folks like me.
Good luck and enjoy. If you enter Zippy's contest, I have graciously consented to judge it and I take PayPal. -
Been using his method and nothing but good result. Use the rub and sauce of your taste and have fun!

cooked some sat....very simple, used rub.......put on indirect at 275. sprayed every hr. with apple vinager and apple juice,,,,,, cooked for 5 1/2 hrs. applied sauce last 30 mins. almost falling off the bone, but great taste and no leftovers. overall, i thought these were better that the 3-2-1 method........just remember between spraying......no peeping, trust the egg..........as i have learned from this site.
Large egg and mini max egg plus a Blackstone griddle

Mike - Can you point me to your recipe/method. I did the search and came up with tons of stuff, but not a consolidated "how to".

the best method is the one you like the best, the trruth is you need to test them all and find the one you personally like, its like pizza, not everyone likes the same places or styles. personally i like raised grid direct low and slow but will do inderect if i feel lazy. best recipe ive ever cooked was catsfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
-
yep, exactly, good looking ribsfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
-
can you please post the recipe for cats? we have two here and one is about 10 pounds now. if it is like rabbit, i might do a paella. but cat ribs might be novel
hahahaha -
if its a tiger or big penny cat or one of those tasty maine coons, the ribs are meaty enough, stay away from those bony siamese ribs, not worth the effort.
was looking for cats recipe, havent seen it posted for a long time
