So, my girlfriend grabbed this large BGE for me off Craigslist. Can anyone tell me an approximate age, and how I can tell if it's clay or ceramic? Is there anything else I need to know about these older models?

tell you one thing... if that's ceramic then I'm going to start taking extra special care of my eggs... can't imagine the outside of a ceramic one ending up looking like that...

Special thanks to Crimsongator for helping me out with this. It appears that this is an original clay Big Green Egg, that's about 18 years old.
