Yum. Was out of RedEye and used Tsunami or sumthin. Inhaled 4 of them. They were perfect. Totally. Completely. Did them on the mini. It held a rack of 8 like a champ and probably could have done a few more.
Happy.

My friend Gloria managed to attack the lollipops before I could find the camera tonight.
Baked asparagus and baked potatoes on the side. Think the camera fell into the pool.

Richard,
As of this afternoon nobody knew about it. That doesn't mean it isn't there. I'll check again tomorrow.

Yeah, was thinking maybe I'll do a hunk or two of these. This is a small enough gathering to pull it off!
Ooooookay. I'm convinced. I'll do some there.

I've got to watch you prep and cook 'em, and then try one or two. So don't start until I'm close by.
See you tomorrow.

I have exactly ONE experience with lamb and it was awful! Think it may have been bad. Is there a difference in New Zealand vs. American lamb?
I'd really like to try it again...and actually like it. mShark, please cook it! -
Did some lamb lollipops the other night. I do think there is a big difference in New Zealand and US, I always choose the New Zealand racks that you can pick up at Sams/Costco. Makes it nice when the bones are already frenched.
Seared them first (make sure to wrap the bones in foil) and then cooked direct until medium rare. Used my new rub Java Lava, coffee infused spice rub and wow they were awesome.

I have done these several times now, and they always "blow away" the guests, especially those who have never had lamb before!
I buy mine at Sam's (New Zealand) and use the Dizzy Pig recipe (on the DP web site). Awesome!!
