What if a person drilled 10 or so 1/2 holes in a XL platesetter, I wonder if it would improve anything like breathability for fire or an increase in heat circulation within the egg.I know if it's not broke don't fix it but what if it makes it better. What if?

It would defeat the purpose of the platesetter.
It wil allow the heat to travel through it and circumvent the indirect function of the platesetter.
I don't have any problems getting my XL up to or maintaining temps.. -
It possibly would also compromise the structural integrity of the setter, causing it to collapse.
