Tailgating

Angel Cakes and I got to Ladd Stadium and set everything up for the South Alabama vs. Army Prep game. Our son, Kevin plays for South. Brought the small and mini and did Fidel's Fajitas. No pictures of the cook because the rain rolled in and didn't want to ruin the camera, but we fed 18 people and they LOVED the fajitas. Best fajitas EVER. Thanks to BobbyB for letting me borrow his small carrier and sharing Fidel's recipe with me.

Oh we had running water! It rained about three inches!
-
Terry, thanks for the kind words on the fajitas.
I love tailgating -- definitely worth the work to drag an egg or three to the ole ball game. -
Rod,
I couldn't find flat irons so I substituted flank. Marinaded them for two days in that wonderful concoction of yours and they were PERFECT. I highly recommend everyone try this recipe. Look it up in the recipe section of the forum. -
Sorry, my bad. Not poking fun of the rain.

Terry,
Great setup ! BTW, where did you get the electricity? Didn't see a generator in any of the pics. -
Clark, I have a Honda EU2000i set up just in front of my pickup. It's a great little generator and quite as a mouse. Runs two fans and the TV with power to spare. Ran it for eight hours on less then a gallon of gas!

What a perfect setup. Lots of room, food and drinks.

Man, that's a sweet little generator! :woohoo:
I've got a monster Coleman I got after a F5 tornado ripped through about 1/2 mile from our house and we had no 'juice' for a couple of days. It was nice to have it when Katrina took out our power, then loaned i tout to friends after ours come back on. It is too heavy and has no wheels - a bear to deal with. :( -
Looking good Terry. Is that the TV from your outdoor lounge? I'm envious. Great setup. Bet Angel liked that generator last Saturday! Right?
-
Okay! Where's the rabbit ears?
Nice set-up! -
Bob,
That's the smaller TV out of our kitchen. Angel was okay with the generator once she realized what we could do with it. Fans are a BIG comfort in the heat of the day. -
If you'll look closely, the high def antenna is right there on the side of the pick up. We got 16 channels with that antenna. I was shocked.
-
do you use a generator? What about dish? curious didn't see ac.
