password manager recommendations

i have been using an old copy of slash id on the dest top to keep my passwords,, no program on my lap top looking for a program so store my passwords and logins
any recommendations ???
i hab=ve been lookig at the two below,,

Iron Key is a neat piece of technology but for $0 I'd look at PWSafe: http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/ or KeePass: http://keepass.info/ used from a USB thumb drive for backup and portability.

Both of them use a solid encryption scheme to protect the data so as long as you select a strong password your data is safe.

I have been using Keypass for years. I can use it on my smartphone. I have 86 passwords at work so it comes in handy only having to remember one!

Hi Bill,

I have been a fan of Norton's since the dark ages. I have Norton Internet Security which comes with Identity Safe that does a good job. My only beef is it ain't free. My subscription runs out in a couple weeks and I am sure I will be kicking and screaming all the way but in the end will pay up because I think Norton's is that good.

I also use Norton anti virus that has a login saver program with it. Its pretty neat until you have to re-new and then I guess if you don't re-new with Norton you will need to have your passwords handy for the new brand one you get.
