Reheating Poppers

edited November -1 in EggHead Forum
Like many others, I am having a holiday get together this Sunday.

Due to the length of the cooks, and given the fact I have only one large egg, I was thinking about cooking the poppers ahead of time and reheating them the following day right before my guest arrive.

Has anyone reheated poppers before, and if so, how were they?

Last weekend I did about 5 LBS of poppers Sunday morning. I cooked them about 3/4 the way done, refrigerated. Took them my the 82nd Airborne Chapter picnic in the afternoon along with a large cast iron pan. Warmed them up to finish cooking on a large gasser in the C.I. pan while cooking Hot dogs, Bratts, Metts, Chicken and Hamburgers. They warmed up great, had only 3 left.

They are fine. You can heat on the egg, in the oven, or in a frying pan. They are a little drier than fresh ones but they are super.
