    Anyone old enough to remember the early years of National Lampoon may recall an audio skit they did back in the 70's called "Catch it and you keep it". It was a game show where valuable objects were thrown from the top of the CBS Building in New York, and contestants could try to catch them. Objects included a watch, an electric knife, a range, a dinette set,... and in the bonus round, a house.

    Sounds like this current show is the real thing!
