Cooking a 5.5 pork tenderloin roast for dinner tonight.
Need advice on how to cook, temp, direct/indirect, time per pound etc.
I'd really appreciate the help. Erik

Go indirect at 225-250. Use Apple and Cherry chips or other fruit wood for smoke. Rub your roast with something that contains brown sugar. Spray with apple juice every half hour or so. Done at 150 internal. Wrap in foil and rest for 15 mins. before carving. It should take about 4-5 hours. It will be good!

Thanks for the tips, I really appreciate it. I've done the regular tenderloins that come in the plastic in the butcher shops, but they are much smaller.
I know that the tenderloin roast will not be as tough, but I want it to have a nice smoky flavor.
Thanks again for your response. Erik
