Freezer burn has been a way of life for many years and I have finally decided to purchase a "food saver". Would appreciate any info on brands, models, benefits, cost, locations, etc.
Thanks

Hi! I have a couple of them. I have bought two at yard sales for back up when they were cheep enough and to have one at our vacation home. My new one has the built in bag maker and I have to admit it is handy. it is the food saver V2830 and it does wet or dry food and seal only. kind of handy to have. worth every penny when you toss a few thing out here and there because they got lost in the back or bottom of the freezer and they are even past the stewing stage LOL
