I have found that our local grocery carries a generic "Best Choice" Lump that is pacaked by Royal Oak. Small bags, but it works just fine and at a good price.

Try ACE hardware, they may not stock it but will order it. My local ACE has R.O. in red bag, "made in USA".

We faced the same problem where Walmart didn't carry Royal Oak any longer.

Go google 'Kroger' and you will see a page of all their company owned stores. Out here it is called Smith's Food King.

I talked with the manager and they didn't have any Kroger Lump (Royal Oak) in stock but the manager said they would order it for me. 4 days later I have the lump.

If there isn't a Korger or Kroger owned store in your area, take a minute and telephone Royal Oak directly.

Ask for the sales manager that is responsible for your part of the coutntry, and ask who carries the Royal Oak Brand or privately labeled Royal Oak Brand.

I live in Greensboro and it may be a little expensive but I buy WGC from Laralee and for $65 they will fedex 66 pounds to me and I think it is very good charcoal. I am new but I like it.
